How much does it usually cost per hour for a modeller? Since I can't make models myself and hiring one would be easier then trying to attract one for free.

How long does it take to model and animate certain things ( Characters, buildings etc etc).

I've seen some really cheap services offered, such as $5, mainly from Eastern countries, I've thought of hiring someone to do some sets of models, can't seem to find the sites I found some at though, most of them did just have cheap royalty free models though.

I guess its dependent on what you wan't, a fully rigged character, with animations, that could be a lot more than a standard static object, although still complex. Its the UV mapping, rigging then creating the animations that can take about the longest for game models. For high quality you could look at maybe 1 to 2 weeks, maybe more dependent on the complexity, maybe less even if they got the skill and tools.
Buildings, enviroment objects, I wouldn't imagine more than a half and hour to a couple of hours for a complete model.
Though taking account that the person may not be working on it full time. Some people can do things very fast though.
