Looks great. I think you have done a fantastic job with the models and landscape. I also like the GUI, well done. I hope the progress continues; you have done a great job so far.

Added a silhouette resource in for highlighting. Plan on using more with interactive objects, but was easy enough to tie right in with the selectron code that was already in place.

This batch is of another Work in Progress zone. There's no trees or decorations yet, and haven't made a precipitation effect for it yet, but this shows the basic look of the zone:

On the last page we showed off some images of an early version of the Plymouth City revamp. It's a bit further long now, and here are some recent shots:

Is there a new terrain texture mapping in T3D? The next to last picture has perfect sedimentary rock, like it's projection mapped from the side, not top. Looks amazing!

T3D allows you to flag any of your terrain materials to use side projection optionally. It makes a huge difference for cliffs and mountains.

They also recently opened up distance scaling for detailed textures. Allows you to set a fairly nice distance for higher end boxes that can support it and then scale back the distance on really low end machines. The outside scenes we are able to get are just becoming unreal and we aren't even using parallax yet.

That second to last shot of water is amazing.

Do I need to register a new account with the forums since the move? Was playing with Repop over the weekend and couldn't log in to post about a couple issues.

So where can I sign up for testing the game?

To Leathel: Maybe this can help FoHO, as well. I'll be testing my FPS, and my computer is one of the best on the FoHO testing team, besides yours, (not to brag) so we'll see how it runs :)

very nice scenes, great looking. keep up the good work.

I have played with advanced lightning and water on stock T3D, altho water looks eye candy on AL, but sometimes it kinda looks like jello, I still havent found a way to make it more clear and not so wavie. even tweaking the wave or the other settings.

but it still looks a whole lot nicer than BL for sure. water on BL lollipops big time!, lol unless you tweak the water setting the h***ll out of it to get a decent look.

only if water can look like unity water with the nice foamy waves, I guess is only about finding the right settings for it will probably look like it.

also like cryengine water. anyone seen it on AION? water looks very nice.

but other than that, T3D has improved the rendering bigtime and now it compares to top engines outhere but with a little bit of sacrifice of hardware resources. hpefully the devs will polish this in the future.
